«Para mí es un orgullo ocupar un cargo de responsabilidad como el de secretaria general de la Denominación de Origen Aceite de Lucena. Lo hago con mucho orgullo y me gusta que las almazaras y diferentes cooperativas del sector confíen en mi y en mi trabajo.»

Dentro del Consejo Regular de las DOP, ¿considera que hay una igualdad efectiva de mujeres y hombres en cuanto a puestos de liderazgo y gobernanza?

«En el caso de la DOP Lucena sí que existe esta igualdad y se ve reflejada en los puestos de gobernanza o gerencia, que están liderados por mujeres. Aun así, la mayoría siguen siendo hombres.»

Para avanzar en igualdad de oportunidades y cumplir con el objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible número 5, ¿qué considera que se podría hacer?

«Considero que se podría hacer mucho, pero uno de los puntos claves y principales es contar con la presencia de más mujeres en puestos de responsabilidad y gobernanza y esto solo pueden llevarlo a cabo los propios socios de las cooperativas en las elecciones de dichos cargos.»
